Our client's law office is looking for a candidate to fill a role that is a combination of front desk and AP/AR responsibilities. This would be a full-time (8-5 Monday through Friday, leaving at 4 on Fridays) in-office position eligible for benefits including medical, vision, paid holidays and PTO.
The setting is a busy one, with a professional feel and a fast pace although the practice itself is a small one so its a friendly team. A typical day would have this person handling:
- incoming phone calls
- the office calendar
- organization of legal files and documents
- filing
- administrative support for all staff members
- client communication
- light accounting work related to receivables and payables.
It's a match for someone who has had exposure to all of the above functions, although it does not have to be in a legal office setting. Our client is more concerned with your ability to pay attention to detail; to write clearly; and to handle a variety of administrative tasks capably and quickly.
