Our client's professional services office will be setting aside the virtual assistant option they have been offering their clients in favor of a live support team member - someone who will not only provide the administrative help needed to complete tasks but who can communicate well both by phone and in writing with their clients. This would initially be a position offering around 20 hours weekly on an agreed-upon schedule, with a strong likelihood of more hours in the future.
It's a match for someone with previous experience in a setting where you've had exposure to financial services in some form. Our client is not opposed to some training and will set the starting pay rate based on how much training is needed, but prefers some knowledge of insurance/investments, etc. if possible.
On a daily basis, your duties would look like this:
- Opening or closing the office
- Greeting clients coming in for appointments
- Managing the appointment calendar, including calling/emailing clients about appointments
- Documenting client interactions and providing support services
- Preparing meeting documents and various reports and correspondence
- Handling mail, files and clerical tasks
You'll need to be comfortable using Word, Excel and Outlook daily, and being part of a small team that takes pride in working at a fast, organized pace to serve a large client base. We've hired for this client previously with great success; it's a well-respected firm!
