Joining this team, you would be working with potential new customers of the business as proposals are prepared and implemented for projects they request. The position involves:
- preparing and tracking customer quotes and orders
- gathering all required product information to coordinate with appropriate vendors
- calculating best, most accurate quotes in coordination with account managers and designers
- preparing purchase orders
- gathering credit information on customers
- tracking product delivery or any production issues
- monitoring and reporting project status to all involved
It's a match for someone with customer service aptitude, a love for organization and efficiency, and a desire to work both in person in the showroom area with new customers and behind the scenes/over the phone to move projects along when they are underway. The role is intended to be filled on a temp-to-hire basis with starting pay set based on the experience level of the person selected and full benefits offered upon hire. An ideal background would be purchasing or accounting with some knowledge of manufacturing processes.
