Title:  Benefits and Payroll Specialist
Location:  Mishawaka
Salary Range:  $22/hr.
Position:  Human resources assistant
Description: 
Our client's service business will be adding to its team with this position dedicated primarily to handling payroll and benefits.  Working a full-time (8-4, Monday through Friday, in-office) schedule, this role will be designed to handle:
  • data management into third-party vendor system
  • multiple software programs for record-keeping
  • report preparation, particularly for service department needs
  • cross-training to provide other functions in support of service efforts

It's the best match for someone with an interest in human resources, since our client's intention would be for the career path to be in that direction long term. Any candidate should bring a skill set that is strong in MS Office products, file management systems such as Google Drive, a basic knowledge of data entry automation tools and data protection, and a proven ability to interact with multiple teams while handling multiple projects and deadlines.
