Our client's opening is a match for someone with a strong customer service or retail sales background who loves home design and would enjoy working with customers after they visit the company's showroom. This is a full-time opening for someone who is looking for a career move and who can work hours of 9-6 daily, with some Saturdays as well. Starting pay will be a base equivalent to $40K, with additional commissions as part of the compensation, and a very nice benefits package as well.
Your responsibilities would look like this:
- welcoming customers in the showroom
- knowing product choices and details to help in providing best options
- preparing quotes
- following up inquiries
- setting up purchase arrangements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be looking for a job that requires a professional presence in both communication and dress code; some mathematical aptitude to properly prepare quotes; strong software skills to quickly learn the client's system; and ideally a background that brings some design knowledge to the table.
