Our client is a respected mid-size law firm looking for a Firm Administrator to oversee all its administrative operations. The role is intended to be a full-time, in-office position operating out of the South Bend location, with 8-5 hours Monday through Friday.
The job is a match for an experienced office management/financial candidate who brings the skills to:
- provide leadership to the administrative staff
- collaborate with the management team on staffing and personnel issues
- manage the timekeeping and billing processes
- create and post job descriptions as needed; make hiring recommendations; and handle onboarding new hires
- serve as the point of contact for employee benefits
- manage the payroll and related reporting
- oversee the IT and office supply needs
- leads the firm’s wellness program
- participate in strategic planning meetings
The firm would like to meet candidates with a bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 3 years' experience in a similar management role; strong proficiency in both software (MS Office) and communication skills. Starting salary will be based on experience level of the candidate chosen, and there is some room for consideration of making this position a part-time role depending on the needs and abilities of the selected individual.
